About the Program

The Beautiful Minds Medical Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers short-term, integrated mental health treatment for adults.

Each client receives a personalized plan of care, which includes group therapy, weekly medical evaluations, medication management, and wellness education. We also provide an option for individual and family therapy.

The program is held three hours a day (9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.), five days per week. The average length of stay is three weeks, but longer treatment will be assessed based on patient progress and continuing need for therapy.

Our Treatment Philosophy

At Beautiful Minds Medical, we believe in whole-person health. Our treatment focuses on enhancing every aspect of life — body, mind, and spirit.

The IOP provides a compassionate and structured environment for participants to learn skills that will enhance their mental, physical, emotional, and social wellness.

Our team provides support and guidance for families to know how to best help their loved ones. We also collaborate with the client’s primary care physician, therapist, and other providers.

Admission Criteria

  • The client has symptoms of a diagnosable mental illness expected to respond to therapeutic intervention.
  • These symptoms make it difficult to function in at least one area of life.
  • The client needs more support than weekly therapy or doctor’s visits can offer, but is safe and able to live at home.
  • There is hope that the client will show significant progress in treatment within the program’s time frame.
