Meet Charinette

Charinette is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner in both primary care and psychiatry. She is passionate about providing comprehensive and quality mental health services. Charinette possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by her natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. She utilizes evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. As a PMHNP, Charinette’s role is multifaceted, including educator, mental health advocate, therapist, and scientist. She believes that a contented mind and a cheerful spirit is health to the body and strength to the soul.

Charinette most recently completed her medical training and psychiatric rotations at Maryville University. She holds a dual master’s degree in family and acute care from Southern Adventist University. She has had the privilege of working in many practice areas, including, psychiatry, primary care, family practice, orthopedics, pediatric, and public health. She enjoys working with a variety of age groups.

Through her experience in psychiatric care, she realized her life’s calling: to heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds. Her definite aim in life is to bring restoration through comprehensive holistic care, not just managing the symptoms but identifying and treating root causes.
