If you have struggled with depression, anxiety, PTSD, or insomnia, you know how exhausting it can be when trying various treatments. You are likely discouraged when procedures that help others do not help you, and you may start to wonder if a better way to heal and feel more like yourself again even exists.
People like you are why we offer PrTMS® therapy and serve patients in Yuba City as part of the Beautiful Minds Medical wholistic approach to mental health. Remembering that mental wellness is about mind, body, and spirit, we use PrTMS® as a tool that respects your uniqueness. It offers personalized brain stimulation that works alongside nutrition, movement, outdoor time, breathing work, and personal support.
Personalized Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (PrTMS®) is a noninvasive and drug-free procedure for mental health. TMS uses magnetic pulses applied to your scalp to stimulate brain cells in regions related to mood and emotional regulation. This stimulation can help the brain shift out of patterns linked to depression or anxiety.
PrTMS® goes further by tailoring the treatment to your brain’s specific rhythm. Before treatment begins, we perform a quick, wireless electroencephalogram (EEG) to map your brainwave activity. We then combine that objective data with information about how you feel to build a custom stimulation plan just for you.
With PrTMS® serving patients in Yuba City, your therapy is custom-made. As your brain changes over the course of treatment, we repeat EEG checks regularly (every few sessions) and adjust the magnetic pulses so that the plan stays aligned with your progress. This dynamic, personalized method aims to correct brainwave disruptions and improve overall brain function.
Because PrTMS® is personalized, not everyone will have the same experience. We first perform an assessment with an EEG and a symptom questionnaire, which helps us understand how your brain is working. We then design a program that fits your history, symptoms, and overall wellness goals. PrTMS® treatment works well for Yuba City adults who have struggled with:

When you visit us for PrTMS® therapy as a Yuba City patient, you get more than just brain stimulation. You receive personalized care that looks at your nutrition, lifestyle, emotional health, environment, and overall wellness under our CHOOSE LIFE framework.
