Early life experiences led Laura to build a sensitivity for emotional injuries, and become aware of the impact that they can create in the individual, family and society. This motivated Laura to embark in the process of learning how to help others find emotional healing. In her work as a Counselor, Laura offers her clients a genuine therapeutic support as she helps her clients understand and re-create healthy thoughts and relationships with self, others and God. Laura studied Psychology in her native country Colombia, then attended Loma Linda University in Southern California in order to complete her Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Laura has a heart for service and has been involved in different community/missionary projects in different countries. Laura has training and experience in working with trauma, grief, family issues, child behavioral issues, military members and victims of war.
